西塔環(huán)填料作為實驗室應(yīng)用較廣的填料，屬于金屬材質(zhì)，也是一種小顆粒填料，用金屬板材制成，填料的直徑與高度相等。

西塔環(huán)由許多沖有小孔的薄的不銹鋼金屬片卷成，但沖孔不去掉金屬，而使其突出，成為粗糙的表面，有利于液體在填料表面的潤濕。

Theta rings are made of many thin stainless steel sheets with small holes, but the punches do not remove the metal, but make it protrude, becoming a rough surface, which is conducive to the wetting of the liquid on the surface of the filler.

壓延孔環(huán)填料主要用于實驗室及小批量、高純度產(chǎn)品的分離過程，它不像金屬絲網(wǎng)式螺旋圈填料在精餾前必須多次液泛使其潤濕，實驗填料。

三、適用范圍（Scope of application）

是一種用于實驗室的填料，機械強度比較大，理論塔板數(shù)較高。

特別適用于實驗室小試、中試精餾塔的實驗，以及大型工業(yè)塔的混裝填料，因此具有很高的傳質(zhì)性能，屬于填料塔填料之一。
